Terms of Service

Agreement to these terms
Questify (“we”, “us”) is a quest-driven productivity platform operated by 12529572 Canada Inc., a company incorporated in Canada. These terms are the agreement between you and us for your use of Questify at www.questify.co.
By creating an account or using Questify, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your data and forms part of this agreement.
Who may use Questify
You must be at least 13 years old to use Questify. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use Questify with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf. If you are using Questify on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password or connected sign-in provider secure. Tell us promptly at support@questify.co if you believe someone else has gained access to it.
Please give accurate account information and keep it current. One person should not maintain multiple accounts to work around plan limits.
Acceptable use
While using Questify, you agree not to:
- break the law, or use Questify to help anyone else break it;
- post or share content you do not have the rights to, or that infringes someone else’s intellectual property or privacy;
- upload or publish content that is harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, or that promotes violence or self-harm;
- probe, scan, or attempt to bypass our access controls, or try to reach data belonging to other users;
- scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract content from Questify, or use automated means to create accounts or generate activity;
- resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service, or copy it to build a competing product;
- place a load on the service that degrades it for other people, including by using AI features in an automated loop;
- misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with a person or organisation.
Your content
You own what you create. Quests, tasks, year themes, notes, and everything else you put into Questify remain yours. We do not claim ownership of it.
You give us the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your content, display it back to you, show it to the party members you invite or to everyone if you choose to publish a quest, back it up, and send the relevant parts to our AI providers when you use an AI feature. That permission lasts as long as you keep the content on Questify, and it exists only so we can operate the product.
Sharing is your choice. Quests are private by default. When you publish a quest or invite party members, you are choosing to make that content visible to others, and you are responsible for what you share.
You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you would not want to lose. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
AI features
Questify uses third-party AI models to break down goals, investigate tasks, and coach you through a quest. When you use one of these features, the relevant quest and task text is sent to the provider serving that model.
AI output can be wrong. It is generated, not verified, and it may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. Treat it as a suggestion to check rather than an answer to rely on.
Questify is a productivity tool. Nothing it generates is professional advice — medical, legal, financial, or otherwise — and you should consult a qualified professional before acting on anything that matters. You are responsible for the decisions you make and for how you use what the AI produces.
Plans, billing, and refunds
Questify has a Free plan and a paid Pro subscription. Current prices, what each plan includes, and the cancellation and refund terms are on our pricing page, and those terms apply to your subscription.
In summary: Pro is charged in advance, monthly or annually, and renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Billing in your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and your quests and history are not deleted — the account returns to the Free plan. Payments are processed by Stripe, and we never see or store your card details.
Prices exclude any taxes that apply where you live. If we change the price of a plan, we will tell you before it applies to your next renewal, and you are free to cancel instead. We may change what the Free plan includes as the product evolves.
Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Questify running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may need to take the service down for maintenance. If we discontinue a feature you are paying for, or the service as a whole, we will give you reasonable notice and refund any prepaid period you cannot use.
Ending your use of Questify
You may stop using Questify at any time. To have your account and its data deleted, email support@questify.co — the Privacy Policy describes how we handle that request.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that we are required to act on by law. Except where the breach is serious or we have no practical choice, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right first.
Disclaimers
Except as stated in these terms, Questify is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements or that any AI output will be accurate. Nothing here limits any warranty or right you have that cannot be excluded under the consumer protection law that applies to you.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunities arising from your use of Questify. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or CAD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits. Where that is the case, they do not apply to you, and nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Questify evolves. We will post the new version on this page and update the “last updated” date above, and we will highlight material changes in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Questify after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, you can close your account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute, except that if you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections and any right to bring proceedings in the courts of the place where you live.
